I‘m a 33 years old tattoo artist living in Berlin, my favorite city by far.
I‘m a convinced Vegan, a true believing hardcore kid and the owner of the tattoo studio named „Der Grimm“.
My career began in the end of 2013 in my hometown Erfurt.
I learned tattooing by myself because I found no one who wanted to teach me, they didn‘t see potential in my drawings and whatever. People tried to tell me all my life what I‘m able to do, what to do and what‘s my path. The statement in my head was always the same: „Who the f*ck are you to tell me that?“
My only judge is myself. With my projects I tend to run too fast, sometimes I can recognise I need to slow down, breathe, have a look around to realise where this all had took me.
I took the risk to fight for my dreams with all what comes with, all the sufferings, all the hard labours, all the negativity that inspired me to succeed and turned it into something positive. Looking back, I am grateful to be now to a point I never thought I would be.
I have drawn my whole life and all I wanted was to be creative, be free and do something that fulfills me. Tattooing is my passion, my way of life.
My style is dark, dynamic, aggressive and is based on the movement of the body. I prefer to do scripts, calligraphy mandalas, abstract letterings with a twist of liquid aesthetic and neotraditional work. I‘m sponsored by Cheyenne Tattoo Equipment, Eclipse Tattoo Ink, Balm Tattoo, Dermalize Pro, Stencil forte and Whipe outz.
I choose Younghearted as my artist name because I feel that I never really wanna grow up and keep my inner child alive.
